Staff & Curriculum

The school has a fully qualified staff. The syllabus has been arranged to meet the requirements of the CBSE, New Delhi. The teaching medium is English. Great care is taken to develop fluency and accuracy in this language. Hindi is also taught with importance in the primary and senior sections.

Calendar

The school session begins in April and closes in the 3rd week of May for summer vacation till the 3rd week of June. School is also closed on Gazetted Holidays.

Admission

Admission is granted on the basis of registration and Pre-Admission tests. After getting registered student has to qualify in the entrance test for the respective class. After qualifying in the entrance test he/she may be granted admission.

Morning Assembly

Morning assembly is held every day followed by “Thought for the Day” and other relevant activities.

Attendance

  • Students must be punctual and regular in attendance. Leave application must be submitted to the principal's office or to the class teacher. In case of illness and other unforeseen circumstances, guardian should inform the principal in written within 2 days.
  • A minimum attendance of 75% of the total working days is required during the academic year. A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor's certificate permitting him to attend the school.
  • Every student must be present on the re-opening day after each vacation.
  • No leave other than medical leave will be sanctioned during examination. Application for the same shall reach principal's office on the very date of following. In case no application can be submitted, intimation may be given over the phone and later the application may be submitted mentioning to whom information of illness was given.
  • Attendance is compulsory on National festivals such as “Independence Day” , “Republic Day” etc. Absence on those days will be punishable

Discipline

  • Students are expected to maintain a high standard of good manners, behavior and etiquette. If a child is found involved in any undesired activity or exhibiting an offensive attitude, he/she will be expelled from the school on charges of indiscipline.
  • English speaking is must, students can be expelled from the school anytime if they fail to follow the school rules. This is also applicable to the students of class X who are to appear for board examination.

Parent Teacher Meeting

  • Periodically organized in which discussion is done over child's educational and welfare matters.

Activities

  • HOUSE: Students are the future of this country and the society. Hence, the house activities train them how to work in groups, how to lead a group and also interact with different people resulting in overall development of their personality and boosting their confidence to face the real world outside the school.
  • OTHER: Personal development is a must for the students. Drawing, Dancing, Singing and many such activity training are made available for these blooming buds to develop into a complete flower.

Leave Application

  • No child should be absent without leave application. An absenting child's name will be kept on roll for 3 days only in the new term and one week after school has been reopened. On joining the school, he/she will have to submit in writing the reasons for absence. It will not be the responsibility of the school to enquire from parents as to whether the child is returning to school or not.
  • The principal reserves the right without assigning any reason to decline any application or request for the removal of any child if he/she considers it to be in the interest of the school and shall not be called in question in any court of law.

School Examination & Activities

2 Unit Tests & 2 Exams

  • UNIT TEST I - JULY
  • HALF YEARLY EXAM - SEPTEMBER
  • UNIT TEST II - DECEMBER
  • FINAL EXAM - MARCH

Progress of the students is assessed on the basis of tests and examination.

Promotion is granted on the basis of entire year's work. The decision of the school authorities regarding promotion will be final.

There will be no examination or re-examination out of schedule.

Transport

  • The school buses will visit different parts of the area.
  • Allotment of the Bus Facility is not automatic with Admission. One will have to apply for it separately. During the course of session in the consequent hike in prices of diesel. The users will have to pay the revised transport fees as decided by the school authorities.
  • The users shall have to board the bus as per stoppages already decided by the school.

Transfer Certificate

  • All correspondence should be addressed to the principal.
  • Students shall not be permitted to leave school during course of the term but urgent reason which must be clearly stated in the reason letter.
  • No verbal/oral request will be accepted in any reference.
  • Transfer certificate will be provided after one week from application date.

School Fee Rules

  • Fees for transport and tuition are payable for 12 months in a year.
  • No reduction is made in fees for absence during or any other causes.
  • If the child is withdrawn from the school any time during the school academic year, he/she will be charged for the full session fee.
  • Caution/Security money is adjusted/refunded only at the time of the withdrawal of the child from the school.
  • All dues and arrears should be cleared before examinations.
  • You are advised to get the receipt and keep it carefully.
